MERCHANDISING

Researching fashion feeds, the Urban Outfitters, and Free People social feeds, and studying in-tore visual merchandising, I was able to quickly implement the Free People brand style into my styles choices, poses, shooting locations, and photo-editing.

LIFESTYLE CONTENT

Since the Free People brand's target market is the 26-year old free spirited young woman who spends her time traveling to experience life, the content for its social channels needed to be from that perspective. Leveraging the trending styles of Free People buyers, we used only the iPhone to capture the lifestyle feeling, and make the Free People Tampa social Channels more relatable for the target market. My team and I not only used the stores most trend worthy clothing, but we traveled around Tampa, scouting content locations that best told the story of that 26-year old young woman.

Content editing also heavily depended on using a range of mobile photo and editing apps such as VSCO, PhotoWonder, and Afterlight to style every photo in the Free People fashion.

#FLATLAY

With my experience in producing fashion content for my personal social media channel, I headed the key project that introduced the market trend of flat lays to the Free People Tampa's social media channels. Using one trending item from the store's seasonal "Featured Item" and my own experience with trending fashion design layouts, I created flatlay concepts that engaged followers, increased sales of the featured item, and increased foot traffic to the store.

BRAND INFLUENCER

As the Social Media specialist, I also acted as a brand ambassador and influencer, ultimately introducing diversity to the brand's social channels.
